Food Hunting Trip : Port Dickson & Malacca

Hi everybodyyy! How was your weekend? Ours was AWESOME! Muehehehehe.

On last friday around 11am, Muzamel texted me and said, “awak saya ambil halfday. Gi pack barang. Jom makan salted egg crab & butter chicken kat PD”. Yeah, that’s how random it was. 😂

Apelagi, kul 12/1pm camtu kitorang gerak shoot ke PD, around 6pm camtu sampai sana for our fav (sebab teringin dari hari sebelum kahwin lagi haha!) Salted Egg Crab & Butter Chicken.

Oh the restaurant’s name is Pantai Ria Restaurant, Port Dickson.

Sedap kannn? Haha kalau makan lagi berjuta kali sedap! Muzamel siap tambah sepinggan lagi nasi 😅

You can choose the size. Kalau kitorang, usually we order medium size butter chicken, small one for baby kailan in oyster sauce, and small size for salted egg crab. Kuah kasi pekat and banyak sikit. And of course 2 plates of nasi kosong. It costs us around RM 100 (GST included). Worth every cents!

After that, terus ke Melaka to have our rest kat rumah family Muzamel kat yang kat Melaka.

Keesokkannya, we had our breakfast kat Selera D’Aisyah not far from rumah nenek Muzamel kat Jasin tu jugak. Kedai tu memang sedap. Selalu orang lepak. (Quoted from Muzamel) I had lontong and roti canai. T’was delicioussss! Muzamel rasa lontong sikit, terus nak satu jugak.

Lunch kat rumah nenek. Nenek masak kari daging & ikan goreng. Petang tu, kitorang dua just lepak and chill kat rumah je main Saidina. I won (of course 😎). Muzamel kata I won just because of luck. Durh. Malu la tu kalah 😝

Later that night around 8.30pm, he brought me out for dinner at Asam Pedas Claypot or also known as Asam Pedas Kota Laksamana. I chose Ikan Pari while he chose Tetel (daging bahagian lemak). Thumb up! Ni first time makan sini, last time datang Melaka kitorang makan kat kedai lain tapi area Kota Laksamana jugak lah. Ye lah, tak sah datang Melaka tak hadap asam pedas. Ye dok?

After that hot and spicy asam pedas, terus shoot to our fav cold and sweet dessert; Cendol Durian at Jonker Walk. Uncle kedai tu pun masih ingat Muzamel sampai sekarang. Go try it out people! Kat Bibik Cendol @ Jonker Walk. Sedap gilossssssss! RM 6 per bowl and wallaah! Welcome to food heaven everyone 😁

Andddd we strolled around tengok gerai-gerai and ended up buying 2 pairs of selipar rumah, tukar screen protector phone Muzamel, and also pouch brader-brader for Muzamel. Hahah! Thats how we called it. Pouch brader. Dia nak sebab senang katanya bila tengok brader-brader gi sembahyang, duit & phone tayah letak dalam poket. Gantung je.

After that, we headed home. Tidur blackout terus sampai pagi. Kenyang katakan 😅

Esoknya, Ahad, after alas perut kat kedai Selera d’Aisyah and lawat nenek, kitorang balik Penang. AND no, belum tamat lagi sesi food hunting, sebab we went to have another round at Pantai Ria PD!


Same menu, sampaikan waitress tu tau dah kitorang nak kuah semua camna.

And this is how I usually eat it. Kuah tu kasi gaul banyak2.

And ni lah crime scene.

Haaaaa licin gitu! Dah konyang barulah boleh balik Penang dengan senang hati. Hahaha 😂


Alhamdulillah sampai rumah around 6pm. Lambat sikit sebab hujan lebat kat highway area KL. Sebab tak sempat beli barang basah, kitorang order pizza je for dinner sambil layan Lawak Ke Der.

Thanks Muzamel for bawak jalan-jalan semua. Greatest husband in the worlddd ecewah! 😍😋 (Read: please belanja saya makan lagi)
